Our idea, our philosophy
At SLO living hostel, we believe in slow travel. While traveling, we love to take our time to discover a region on our own by meeting local people, taste street food, enjoy local events. For us, traveling is more than just a touristic moment, that’s a life experience. That’s why in our hostel, we will give you the opportunity to become part of local life and to connect to Lyon, its culture and people. So we created a small, comfortable and living place where design and togetherness are the guiding principles to make you live a unique experience !
Our hostel has been designed by local architect/designers that thought about every small details. With beautiful rooms, stunning common areas and private patio, our priority is to create a living place that respects your comfort and intimacy, and always at affordable prices.
The most central hostel in Lyon
We couldn’t dream of a better place to open a new hostel in Lyon. Our hostel is located in the district “La Guillotière”, a living and popular district of Lyon city centre. You will just need to walk 5/10 minutes to reach some of the main points of interest (riverbanks, Bellecour Square, etc.). Since 10 years and thanks to huge works on the Rhône riverbanks, this district became one of the most attractive areas of Lyon. New bars, restaurants, clubs are opening every month. “La Guill'” is now the meeting point for all young and alternative concepts.
Right outside the hostel you will find direct connexion to reach the train stations (subway line B or tramway), airport and other central districts of Lyon. Thanks to this central location and public transportation network at the hostel door, you can reach any part of the city in less than 25 minutes.
